Premier JKD is a unique martial arts school with a strong background and teaching specialty in Jeet Kune Do, the art founded by Bruce Lee. As a full service martial arts studio, with a privileged lineage to the legendary Bruce Lee, Premier JKD is one of the few schools authorized by one Bruce Lee’s original students, Jerry Poteet.

We have a strong commitment to provide comprehensive knowledge and training that will both inspire and promote martial arts learning through positive self discovery and personal growth reflective of each individual. From our kids programs, specialty workshops and to our adults and teens classes in Jun Fan Gung Fu and Jeet Kune Do, you will discover it’s a studio built on quality and integrity with the focus on making a positive difference in peoples lives- one noble warrior at a time.

Sifu Dane Junod, Owner and Chief Instructor, has been teaching private and semi private students Jeet Kune Do since 1990 and was always encouraged to by his students to open his own studio.  With his passion to teach and his desire to fulfill his purpose of helping more people to achieve their personal development, protection and fitness goals, he and his wife, Priscilla, opened their first Jeet Kune Do Studio in West Hills, California in 2004.

We offer programs in LITTLE CHAMPIONS, JUNIOR CHAMPIONS, ADULTS/ TEENS JUN FAN GUNG FU and  JEET KUNE DO for people of all ages and physical levels. We offer a curriculum that is guided in martial art tradition and principles with an emphasis on enhancing the physical and mental well being of our students.  We contribute to providing this balance and harmony through progressive and innovative teaching methods.  Our facility is open to serve you Monday through Saturday.  Classes are offered weekday evenings and all day Saturday to accommodate your schedule.

At Premier JKD, our fundamental focus is on  SELF DISCOVERY  and LEARNING .  As part of our this shared goal our Instructors attend seminars, workshops and private lessons.  We belong to the Martial Arts Teachers Association and  Members Solutions, two organizations dedicated to the development, growth and success of all martial artists and school owners. And to preserving the integrity of Bruce Lee's Art of Jeet Kune Do, we are members of the Jerry Poteets Jeet Kune Do Association.

The owner and Chief Instructor of Premier JKD Martial Arts, Dane Junod shares a privileged lineage to the legendary Bruce Lee, founder in the art of Jeet Kune Do, and is accomplished as a Jeet Kune Do Full Certified instructor under the tutelage of Sifu Jerry Poteet, an original student of Bruce Lee.  Dane Junod continues his studies in the martial arts with his instructor, Jerry Poteet, and conducts demonstrations in Jerry Poteet's Instructors Workshop that has been held annually at Premier JKD.  Why learn Martial Arts at Premier JKD?
