Sifu Dane Junod
Chief Instructor, Jerry Poteet's Jeet Kune Do Certified Full Instructor
Sifu Dane Junod is one of few teachers who has received Jeet Kune Do training from two of Bruce Lee's original students - Sifu Jerry Poteet and Ted Wong. Sifu Dane Junod received his earlier martial arts training in Wing Chun at the age of 13 with Sifu Allen Lamb, the first Caucasian Hong Kong trained master by Koo Sang, a senior student of Yip Man. This path led him to study privately with Sifu Ted Wong from 1989-1992. During this course of training with Sifu Ted Wong and through his recommendation to further research and understand the art of Jeet Kune Do, he sought private instruction with Sifu Jerry Poteet from 1990 to the present time. Sifu Dane not only learned great insights in the art of Jeet Kune Do but how to deliver the essence as taught to him through Sifu Jerry Poteet.

Sifu Nathan Elliot
Premier JKD Certified Jeet Kune Do Associate Instructor
Sifu Nathan Elliot has a rich backround in martial arts. Sifu Nathan studied Ninjutsu under Blackbelt Hall of Fame member Stephen K Hayes 1997-2000. He also pursued Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and submission wrestling under Jorge Gurgel, UFC competitor and trainer of mixed martial arts champions in multiple organizations (including former UFC lightheavyweight champion Rich Franklin), 2000-2003. Sifu Nathan was also a Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Club instructor at the University of Dayton from 2001-2002. From 2000-2005, he studied Boxing and Muay Thai with various gyms and trainers in southwestern Ohio. Sifu Nathan's road through various martial arts ultimately lead him to study Jeet Kune Do at Premier JKD Martial Arts, where he has obtained the rank of Certified Associate Instructor.

Si-Sook Nick Benseman
Senior Student and Teaching Assistant for Childrens Program
Si-Sook Nick Benseman has been studying martial arts since childhood and has devoted himself to Jeet Kune Do. Si-Sook Nick's background included the study of Hawaiian Kenpo, Tae Kwon Do, Shaolin Kung Fu, Kung Fu San Soo, Hapkido, Kick Boxing, and Capoeira. He is Premier JKD's senior student and Children's Program Instructor.

Si-Sook James Young
Senior Student and Teaching Assistant for Childrens Program
James is the newest member to our team. He brings over 8 years of experience working with children as a Summer Camp Counselor. He is also an avid semi- professional soccer player. With a short time spent in Judo and Karate as a young child, he did not pursue martial arts until later when he became a student at Premier JKD. Recognized by Sifu Dane as having a good ability for conveying and applying skill readily with each lesson learned, James also demonstrated a humble dedication to the studio and training for the journey. Since James began assisting over 6 months ago, he has developed a strong likeness among the kids for his ability to get on their level and engage their interests with his enthusiasm and patience as seen in the classes he teaches. We look forward to his continued assistance as he works toward being our head children's instructor.
